Professor Jonathan Valabhji and Dr Shivani Misra will work collaboratively on work package 4 of the REDDIE project which aims to validate real-world evidence against RCT evidence in multiple datasets. Professor Jonathan Valabhji is Clinical Chair in Medicine at Imperial College London and Honorary Consultant Diabetologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London. He was National Clinical Director for Diabetes and Obesity at NHS England from April 2013 until September 2023, and is now National Clinical Lead for Multiple Long-Term Conditions at NHS England.
Dr Misra is a Wellcome Trust Career Development Fellow and Honorary Diabetes Consultant with an interest in real world data.
