REDDIE presented at the ISPE Annual Meeting 2026
REDDIE was represented at the ISPE Annual Meeting 2026, held on 31 August, as part of a joint presentation from projects within the MetReal Cluster.
The presentation, titled “Towards the use of real-world data for regulatory and health technology assessment decision-making: Results from five EU-funded projects,” brought together REALM, REDDIE, More-EUROPA, Real4Reg, ONCOVALUE and INSAFEDARE.
Representing REDDIE, Professor Julia Mader presented the project’s work on using real-world data from national diabetes registries to support diabetes research and inform regulatory and health technology assessment decision-making.
The session attracted a large audience and encouraged active discussion on how real-world data and real-world evidence can be used to complement clinical trials and strengthen decision-making in healthcare.
Participation in the meeting provided an opportunity for REDDIE to share its results, exchange knowledge with experts in regulatory science and health technology assessment, and contribute to wider discussions on the future use of real-world evidence.
